Abdraimova: DE URE consult plans to partially remain on remote work even after the cancelation the state of emergency

Managing partner of the Law company DE URE consult Nargiza Abdraimova talks about the shifting of work processes to the online format for the material “Sputnik Kyrgyzstan”.

Nargiza Abdraimova notes that it was decided to protect our employees in advance and minimize physical contacts even before the state of emergency that is why the company switched to the online format from 16 March.

Of course, the company never prepared for this but decisions were made quickly: it was necessary to transfer the entire database to cloud storage, deal with employees about the work in a new format and competently build the communications. The entire process of preparation took place in one to two days.

The range of services had to be reduced. For example, priorly we offered licensing and registration of legal entities but now we provide only those services that do not require contact with government authorities: we conduct consultations, carry out review and examination of documents. With the introduction of the state of emergency, many sole proprietors found themselves in a difficult situation since no one was ready for the force majeure and a quick transition to remote work. When it became clear that the people of town going to stay at home for at least a month, clients began to call asking for online consultations and organizations asked for webinars. Today, part of the services is free and part will be paid. Before the state of emergency, we held free consultations explaining simple questions by phone and by messengers. Consultations in the new conditions for the citizens will remain free. Corporate online consultations are paid. What is it? We organize a webinar with an accountant, personnel officer and other key employees of the company and answer to the collected questions, for example, how to change the contract remotely, work with clients. In other words, everything that we used to do in offices now can be organized by messengers. Such individual webinars are convenient for companies because we discuss the specific cases while maintaining commercial secrets. In addition, we understand that many Kyrgyzstanis are having a hard time right now: I think people are facing with unlawful dismissal, the business is experiencing difficulties, because someone does not apply clause of the force majeure. At the same time, the amount of work has been reduced and we have free time which we can use for providing pro bono services, that is free of charge. It is not about the consultations, but about the specific cases. By the way, we are already planning to partially stay on remote work even after lifting the state of emergency. Employees like this format but they would like to visit the office to meet with the clients and solve urgent problems. In addition, we decided: to focus not on the number of working hours but on the effectiveness of specific projects; increase the load on online and electronic services offered by government bodies. For example, “transfer to the electronic format for submission of requests for information, the submission of documents for licensing, registration of LLCs and so on."
